Feeling Luney?

Does anyone experience feeling different, or an interesting energy around during the phase of the full moon?
I always have. I call it feeling "luney".
Sometimes I notice this energy shift not only within myself but in those around me as well. I usually notice that I feel a bit more sensitve, out of sorts, or spacey. Wonky for a lack of a better word. Others also seem to display similar qualities, or seem to be a bit more edgy, off kilter, or misunderstood.
Since I was raised by a mother who practiced shamanism, regard for the moon and it's energies is not a foreign concept to me. But I do know several folks, who I wouldn't consider to be real "new agey", have admitted to me that they do catch themselves feeling a little strange, or a little bit off, around the time of the full moon.
As spiritual as I am, I realize there must be science behind this as well. I have a deep appreciation for the two, and really don't view them separately anymore.

My friend and I were just talking about this! She says she can't sleep at all during the full moon phase. For me, it varies, but this time around I seem to be feeling better and sleeping better (knock on wood).

My husband works swing shifts and he said he can tell when there's a full moon. People's moods change, how they drive changes, etc.

I really agree too that the science aspect and spiritual aspect are intertwined. Although Science tends to promote themselves on facts, I think they overlap into some spiritual things too.

I am going to have to pay more attention to see if it happens regularly, but I know last night I felt very giddy for apparently no reason. I thought everything was funny and laughed at the littlest things. Maybe it was related to the moon. I don't have any other explanation for it. I didn't even think about the connection until I read your post. And, even more weird is that I've never read posts on this website before. Pretty coincidental, huh?
