I have been studing Taoisim and Chinese Medicine. Much of the things said in them are the same as the Christianity I was brought up on and tried for years to live up to. When I was a "born again" Christian, I was told that anything else was "of the Devil". After being too afraid to argue with the powers that were all my life, I find out that it is pretty much the same, accept that other faiths don't have that "we are the only ones who have the way to God" attude. Go figure-I wasted a good 35-40 years of my life on something that was not true-or has truths--and I was so arrogant in my "faith". |
