Fish oil allegies

After 30 years as a vegetarian I thought perhaps I needed fish oil. Took Perricone Omega 3 supplements for about a week. All my joints immediately became very swollen. Guessing I am allergic to the fish. Obviously not a smart move to begin with but anyone out there have allergic reactions to Omega Three supplements? I have since started using flax oil with excellent results.

I just started using Fish Oil capsules about 3 weeks ago. I haven't noticed any pain in the joints though, and I've actually felt better.

Sorry to hear about your allergy

How has the flax oil worked out for you? I've played soccer for about 13 years now and deal with joint pain frequently, so I'm always curious to hear what others are doing for joints.

Lovin the flax oil - it is aloe gel that is working great for the joints however. Not aloe juice, gives you the runnies. We drink it by the shot glass 3 or 4 a day until you feel the difference, then you can cut back. Recommended by my chiro and I remembered my massage clients who used it years ago with great results. We use Lily of the Desert whole leaf Aloe Vera Gel with certified organic leaves.

Craniosacral therapy used to decompress joints is very helpful too. Good luck

Have you found success in the Fish Oil? My husband and I use a product called Bio-Nutria joint Formula that contains glucosamine sulfate and another product called REsist Fatty Acid Dietary Supplement featuring flaxseed oil and CoQ10. This has helped dramatically.
