All of us have seen at least ONE movie that left us completely overwhelmed emotionally, surprised, intellectually and spiritually enlightened, or just simply awestruck.
There are only a handful of directors that have made films which have made me feel alive with happiness, brought me to tears, imprinted a scene in my mind forever, or sometimes allowed me to physically experience what the characters in the movie are feeling. Those are the films that I live for!
I'd love to know what movies made YOU feel that way. Here are my personal top 10:

The Secretary was quite an intriguing movie. I give lots of respect to Maggie Gyllenhaal for the amazing job she did in a very, very difficult role |

The Grapes of Wrath
Good choice. I only remember bits and pieces of the film, but I'll never forget how sad I felt after finishing the book. |

How could I have forgotten(smacks self on forehead)
The movies that left me speachless and made the most profound differnce in my life-
The Shawshank Redemption
and The Green Mile.
Thease showed me that hope can shine in the darkest places. And magic can be found in the everyday.
We never know when a mircule will show up. |
