What movies have left you speechless?

All of us have seen at least ONE movie that left us completely overwhelmed emotionally, surprised, intellectually and spiritually enlightened, or just simply awestruck.

There are only a handful of directors that have made films which have made me feel alive with happiness, brought me to tears, imprinted a scene in my mind forever, or sometimes allowed me to physically experience what the characters in the movie are feeling. Those are the films that I live for!

I'd love to know what movies made YOU feel that way. Here are my personal top 10:

The Secretary was quite an intriguing movie. I give lots of respect to Maggie Gyllenhaal for the amazing job she did in a very, very difficult role

The Grapes of Wrath

Good choice. I only remember bits and pieces of the film, but I'll never forget how sad I felt after finishing the book.

How could I have forgotten(smacks self on forehead)

The movies that left me speachless and made the most profound differnce in my life-

The Shawshank Redemption

and The Green Mile.

Thease showed me that hope can shine in the darkest places. And magic can be found in the everyday.

We never know when a mircule will show up.
