The Dish over at Bravo released a list of the Sexiest Green Celebs, paying tribute to some of the most eco-conscious names (and faces) in movies, tv, sports and even books and cartoons.

The usual suspects like Sheryl Crow, Brad Pitt, Leo DiCaprio and Robert Redford are there, but there were some surprises, too. Willie Nelson, Harry Potter, Aquaman and even Kermit the Frog and Oscar the Grouch were mentioned. Forgive me for not immediately realizing the obvious "Green-ness" of the last two.

I've kindly put together the whole list for you to see:
  • Cameron Diaz
  • Leo DiCaprio
  • Brad Pitt
  • Robert Redford
  • Salma Hayek
  • Alicia Silverstone
  • Woody Harrelson
  • George Clooney
  • Ted Danson & Mary Steenburgen
  • Larry David
  • Sheryl Crow
  • Ed Begley, Jr.
  • Keeley Hazell
  • Edward Norton
  • Stella McCartney
  • Melissa Etheridge
  • Jon Bon Jovi
  • Don Henley
  • Willie Nelson
  • Harry Potter
  • Christie Brinkley
  • Susan Sarandon & Tim Robbins
  • Rachel McAdams
  • Oscar the Grouch
  • Arnold Schwarzenegger
  • Jessica Alba
  • Julia Roberts
  • Russell Simmons
  • Mahatma Ghandi
  • Ted Turner
  • Richard Branson
  • Daryl Hanna
  • Aquaman
  • Adrian Grenier
  • Kermit the Frog
Do you have anyone to add to the list? Do you think they skipped anyone obvious? I'll give you a hint of who I think should have been there: she has BIG LIPS and lots of kids.

Daryl Hanna totally deserved her mention. She traveled to Ecuador to meet with Natives who are suing Chevron for contaminating water in their region.

A lot of times celebrities don't do any good when they get involved in campaigns, but sometimes putting a famous face on one can do a whole lot.

I hope this picture (thanks AP and SFGate) brings more awareness to the lawsuit. Just look at how disgusting the effects are of the oil contamination!

That's a good list they came up with. Personally I'm a bit ga-ga over Tim McIlrath, but not everyone agrees with me.

Bono is my man!

Maybe he is more social-conscious... But, he promotes a sustainable planet for all...

Plus he sometimes takes fans at his show up on stage and gives them a little kiss... But that might be something different.  Either way, he has the ability to move people forward.

"One answer comes up every morning."

I have to completely disagree with the "Sexiest" part for most of these listed....even the one with the BIG LIPS and lots of kids-she's highly overrated in my opinion.

Pierce Brosnan is the only celeb I know personally and I must say the
man is very green and most women would say sexy as well... He has
been actively involved in the fight against the use of  sonar waves being used
in our oceans which injure whales and he uses all non chemical alternatives
where ever possible in his lifestyle...
