Acupuncture, yoga for cancer patients?

To try and stay as healthy as possible during treatment, cancer patients are turning to alternative therapies like acupuncture, massage and yoga. It's helping them in different ways, including dealing with headaches, regaining mobility, and recovering energy.

Also, people dealing with arthritis, depression, chronic pain, menopause symptoms and infertility are also using alternative therapies.

If someone close to you was suffering from these conditions, would you try and suggest alternative therapies to help their recovery? Also, have any of you turned to alternative therapies to deal with pain, injury or any other type of ailment?
