Celebrity Planet: Ellen and Portia Tie The Knot, Matt Damon is Number ONE

You probably heard that Ellen DeGeneres married Portia de Rossi over the weekend. But did you know all the food was vegan? People has the scoop in their cover story.

Although Matt Damon is busy with his a new baby — daughter Gia Zavala made her debut this week — the hunky actor still has a ONE track mind for ending poverty.

The ONE campaign, which is a nonpartisan group dedicated to help erase global AIDS and poverty, launched a campaign, featuring the action star, aimed at encouraging the next president to address world poverty. The ad features Matt with different Americans' voices — among them Michelle Obama, Cindy McCain and New York City's Mayor Bloomberg. You can watch it here.

Speaking of Matt, his best bud Ben Affleck and wife Jennifer Garner finally confirmed their own baby news. Violet Affleck is going to be a big sister. The same day Jen 'fessed up to having a bump, she was seen tooling around Los Angeles in eco-style — driving the BMW Hydrogen 7, a luxury car modified to run on hydrogen in addition to its normal gasoline diet. As we discussed a few weeks back, celebs like Will Ferrell have been test driving the car. Ah, to be a star!

Brad Pitt is sharing his beauty secrets with the world. Angelina Jolie's partner has joined forces with Kiehl's to bring green grooming to the masses. JPF Eco Systems is the name of the Kiehl's/Pitt partnership, and proceeds from products like Kiehl's Aloe Vera Biodegradable Liquid Body Cleanse will go to Make It Right, the initiative dedicated to the construction of environmentally sustainable, affordable housing for victims of Hurricane Katrina. Brad won't make a penny off the partnership, nor will he appear in the ads, but he did write a note that will appear on the bottle — a message on a bottle, if you will.

Lance Armstrong spent most of June hanging out with then-gal pal Kate Hudson in Calif. Meanwhile he was racking up a g-i-g-a-n-t-i-c water bill back home in Austin, Tex. According to city records, a total of 222,900 gallons of water was used at Lance's 3-acre home, making him the city's biggest water-using individual that month. Breaking it down, it meant that every minute about five gallons of water passed through the sinks, sprinklers, fountain and pool at the former cycler's lavish estate. His actual water bill, not including wastewater or other utilities, was $1,630.23. "I'm a little shocked," the bachelor told his local paper when told about the water use. "There's no justification for using that much water. I need to fix this. To use that much more water (than most residents) is unacceptable. I have no interest in being the top water user in Austin."

Speaking of bachelors ... Less than two months after getting hitched, former Saturday Night Live star Chris Kattan and his model wife, Sunshine Tutt, have separated. It's not a new record for shortest Hollywood marriage — Britney Spears was only married to childhood pal Jason Alexander for 55 hours! — but it's up there. Kattan and Tutt were married in an environmentally-friendly wedding. The biodegradable invites were printed on flower seed paper that could be replanted in the guests' own gardens, among other things. Here's hoping their next weddings — and there will be more, I'm sure — are equally green.

Miley Cyrus isn't even 16 — the big day is Nov. 23 — but she's already nurturing Mother Earth. In the latest Miley & Mandy Show on YouTube, a video series she does with her best friend, Miley asks her fans to protect the environment through her new song, "Wake Up America." The duo also offers some teen-friendly tips in the video, suggesting that people unplug their cell phones, recycle magazines by giving them to friends and shop online to save gas. So while some people think she's a bad influence on tweens (risquè photos anyone?), she is trying to make a difference. She's a helluvalot more aware than I was at 15. You?

Until next week ...

I've heard about it. the car has also been associated with Oscar-winning film director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck and Erich Sixt as written in the BMW site. Really we can't deny its growing popularity among the famous celebs. Although it's running both on hydrogen and gasoline, the car marque assured it safety and dependability. Guess there will be lesser problems on Mr Gasket Oil Filler Cap and oil related problem...
