Drew Barrymore paid a visit to Oprah this week to announce her Big Give: a check for $1 million for the United Nations World Food Programme, an organization that she's worked with for several years. The money will be used to feed thousands of school children in Kenya. During the show, Drew also talked about how great things are going with her latest boyfriend, Justin Long, who was in the audience. As she said how they're best friends and make each other laugh, I had horrible flashbacks of Drew doing the same with Tom Green, Fabrizio Moretti and pretty much every other dude she's ever dated. I think she jinxes all her relationships by publicly gushing about how wonderful they are. But she just donated $1 million bucks, so who am I to judge?
Kevin Federline is in the headlines this week for being overfed –- Britney Spears's ex was sporting a rather large new belly while playing golf over the weekend. But what didn't get quite as much press is the fact that K-Fed stopped by Petit Tresor baby boutique recently and purchased four organic Robbie Adrian blankets for his sons Preston and Jayden. So while the little tater tots can't be wrapped in mommy's arms at bedtime – she's only recently been granted brief visits with the boys during the day – I can sleep better knowing they're at least wrapped in organic blankies.
There's no doubt about it: Kimora Lee Simmons is one major diva. The headquarters for her clothing line, Baby Phat, was in my former office building, and one day she breezed into the lobby – shrieking hellos to the doormen (and anyone else within 500 feet) – followed by no less than five handlers who scurried after her carrying her things. This week, Page Six reports that her contract rider – which is basically a list of things she demands in order to appear anywhere – stipulates that the only water she is given is Fiji. I know it's a lot to ask that a diva drink water from the tap, but I'd be willing to forgive her obnoxiousness if she did.

Now that Kylie Minogue is in remission, the Aussie singer is selling off the largely green home she stayed in while fighting breast cancer. The private island hideaway is two hours from Melbourne on secluded French Island. The 50 acre retreat –- featuring a four-bedroom farmhouse –- has been maintained as a working farm with an organic fruit (with apples, peaches and other fruits) and veggie garden. Almost 1000 trees have been planted on the home property and it has a solar, wind and back-up diesel generator system. At only $2 million, surely there's another green-minded celeb who will be able to spring for it.
Mama-to-be Gwen Stefani will always be an Orange County girl. The singer announced that she's auctioning off memorabilia from her recent Sweet Escape tour to benefit two charities where she grew up: Orangewood Children's Foundation and the Children's Hospital of Orange County. "To share these amazing costumes with my fans and raising more money for [children's charities] at the same time is very exciting," Gwennie said in a statement. The sale runs on eBay from March 3 through 20. Expect lots of harajuku girl leftovers. Happy bidding.
